Data Transfers with ASU Research Computing

Learn best practices for transferring data to and from ASU Research Computing systems. This workshop covers tools and techniques to efficiently move data between your local machine and HPC storage.

Applications and Uses of MATLAB

This workshop focuses on approaches to porting MATLAB applications to a supercomputer environment. Topics include batch submission of multiple single-threaded instances, multithreading with parfor, distributed arrays, GPU-accelerated MATLAB functions, and an introduction to the MATLAB Parallel Server.

Introduction to R for Research Computing

This workshop focuses on best practices, profiling, and benchmarking in R. It also introduces how to submit R jobs to ASU's supercomputer through batch submissions, parameter sweeps, and SLURM job arrays.

Beginner's Guide to Research Computing

A beginner-friendly introduction to ASU Research Computing. This workshop covers supercomputer configuration, batch and interactive access, available software packages, and an overview of Open OnDemand — a browser-based portal supporting command-line shell, drag-and-drop file transfer, job submission, and RStudio/Jupyter interfaces.

Accelerating Research with GPUs
