Applications and Uses of MATLAB

This workshop focuses on approaches to porting MATLAB applications to a supercomputer environment. Topics include batch submission of multiple single-threaded instances, multithreading with parfor, distributed arrays, GPU-accelerated MATLAB functions, and an introduction to the MATLAB Parallel Server.

This workshop covers supercomputer configuration, batch and interactive access, available software packages, and an overview of Open OnDemand — a browser-based portal supporting command-line shell, drag-and-drop file transfer, job submission, and RStudio/Jupyter interfaces.
