Courtesy Affiliate Accounts

Access to Research Computing resources are typically accessible only to ASU staff, faculty, and students.

If you need access to ASU compute resources, such as through work as a visiting scholar/faculty or other affiliated work, you can apply to receive these services via a courtesy affiliate account.

Requirements​

In order to request a courtesy affiliate account with ASU you must have:

  • An appropriate ASU sponsor (department/project/product manager, dean, director, or acting supervisor)
  • A defined need for ASU resources that aids in the advancement of ASU’s mission and goals

Instructions​

To apply for an ASU courtesy affiliate account:

  1. Direct the account sponsor to the ASU Courtesy Affiliate Request page to fill in on behalf of the new user
  2. Select ‘(NCON) Department Sponsored Consultant’ affiliation option
  3. After submitting, a request will typically be processed within 5 business days
