The ASU SSLVPN is required to connect to the Voyager RC Resource Manager. On-campus networks still require VPN.
Whether you are a student, staff, or faculty, the Voyager RC Resource Manager will be central to changing your relationships to groups and requesting privileges.
Connecting to Voyager requires use of the ASU SSLVPN.
These options are available on the Voyager Portal under "My Profile".
Request New Sponsorship
Click on "Request a New Sponsor" in order to request a change of sponsorship to a different faculty.
Common use cases include moving primary research labs.
Request to Join a New Group / Access Group Shares
Click "Join a Group" if you are collaborating with a new group.
Common use cases include maintaining your existing sponsorship, but need to share files/access files from another group.
Request access to a QoS
In the case where a PI is willing to grant you access to their resources--without that PI being your direct sponsor, you can request access to their resources QOS for approval from the "Slurm" tab:
Click "Request QoS" if you are collaborating with a new group who has access to privately-owned resources. This is separate from joining their group, and will confer all the capabilities of the target group's grp_labname privileges.
Common use cases include collaboration between two groups and they have offered to share compute resources with you.
